An event that took place in the Warwickshire countryside almost a century ago in 1923 is still somewhat of a mystery though. Back then, it proved to be a mass sighting of significant proportions but the coverage from a media viewpoint wasn’t great. And it happened at a time where the term UFO wasn’t even on anyone’s radar. So what did they call it? Well, the locals who witnessed the lights spectacular decided it must have been ghosts. Richard Rokeby is a keen historian with a strong background in investigation. He decided it was time the Burton Dassett lights got the recognition they deserved so he devoted a lot of time to researching just what happened.
